Video Marketing: YOU Are What Makes Your Audience Engage

Video Marketing: YOU Are What Makes Your Audience Engage

January 25, 2022

You know video marketing is one of the best ways to get more attention and business for your real estate company.  But once you build a video, what do you actually do with it? There are multiple strategies that work very well when harnessing video marketing, but there isn’t just one video strategy that works every time.

It really comes down to understanding your video’s  audience  andwhat makes them happy.  After all, they’re the ones who will be engaging with your video and potentially buying from you.

Many people make video marketing  sound like a logistical nightmare –  all that video editing, scripting, video concepts, video marketing plans, video creation  software… it can be overwhelming. It is important to remember that video marketing is about putting your best foot forward and providing something valuable for free in the form of video content.

If you think of video marketing  as “putting out fires” with video marketing  strategies, you’ll be burnt out before you even get started.

You have to understand that your video content should be a reflection of what you’re all about as a real estate professional. The video shouldn’t just be something you randomly threw together and posted online to see how it fares, but rather an extension of who you are as a professional.

In the video world, this is called video branding. Basically, video branding is creating a video strategy that will resonate with your audience and ultimately describe who you are as a brand.

Knowing what to talk about in your video can be truly frustrating. Not everyone enjoys scripting or memorizing lines word for word, but writing down bullet points and working them into your video can be just as effective.

If you’re struggling to come up with video concepts, remember that video marketing can revolve around anything! Maybe you want to focus on promotions or future listings – video concept ideas will always present themselves if video branding is something you truly want for your business.

If you know your video marketing goals, it will be easy to develop video concepts that are valuable and relevant for your target audience.

When it comes down to video creation, it can be very expensive – or extremely cheap! There are so many video tools out there right now that you can create stunning videos with minimal budgeting. But video marketing isn’t about video production , it’s about video concept, video scripting and video branding.

Small steps are the best way to figure out video ideas that work for your business. Not everyone is a fantastic video storyteller at first – it takes time to develop video concepts that will resonate with your audience. The more you video market and video brand, the better you’ll become.

Creating video content that is actually valuable for your audience isn’t as hard as some people think. When you video market to your audience and video brand yourself as a real estate professional, success comes naturally.
