5 Practical Ways To “Spring Clean” Your Title Company

March 20, 2023

Happy First Day of Spring! How can we give our business a good spring cleaning? Check out my top 5 tips to Spring Clean your title company today!

  1. Audit your Standard Operating Procedures as well as your Onboarding & Training Materials
We often get too busy to updated these pieces of our business, but they are crucial in the workings of our day-to-day as well as our growth opportunities. Employee experience (EX) is becoming more and more important in overall retention strategies as we are still in a labor shortage. You can connect with our Corporate WFG HR team to learn new ideas for implementation. Just ask your WFG Agency Sales Rep!
  2. Clean Up Your Expenses
One of the best tools you can leverage is WFG’s Blocks Program. Our Expense Management Block is extremely effective at helping title agents save time & money. Through this block, we will be able to review your current invoices to verify potential savings and validate your annual savings.
  3. Update Your Marketing Collateral or Consider a Brand Refresh
Have you been working with the same designs and deliverables for a while? It may be time to refresh your marketing collateral. You may even consider a brand refresh if your colors, logo, and overall messaging if your company mission, goals, and your unique value proposition (UVP) in the market has changed over the years. Your MTD team can direct you on the best places to start these updates!
  4. Review Your Client & Target Lists
Make sure your time and energy is being spent in the right places. Evaluate your client & target lists to confirm they still make sense! Is the juice you’re putting into these clients worth the squeeze? Refocus and Reset! You should always have a list of your top 20 clients and top 20 prospects readily available. You can create target lists on social media specifically for these people as well as segmenting your company newsletters based on the type of client or target they are.
  5. Host an Office Spring Cleaning Event
Take the time to have your employees declutter, ask for storage, request organizational help, and deep clean the office! Offer lunch and a break as a team. Turn on some music and have fun with it! If you’d like to share in the fun with your clients, consider hosting a shredding or junk donation event in conjunction with your office event.

These are just a few suggestions so you don’t get behind in any of these areas. If 5 are too many, pick one or two and execute. Save the others for next quarter!
